Into the depths

The Incarnation is a deep mine that is very dark but is never exhausted of rich treasure. Let us bow our heads at the humble entrance of that cave, and then follow shepherds and kings as they seek the bright Daystar where men think it unlikely to be found. Let us plunge into that darkness, into the depths, as did long-suffering Job, that with him we may behold the One he beheld, saying,
‘I know that my Redeemer lives.’
